Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Tenniso. You're responsible for your own safety — match in public courts, share only what you're comfortable with, and use good judgment.

Your account

• One account per person.
• Provide accurate information — especially your NTRP rating, since matching depends on it.
• You're responsible for the security of your account credentials.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable use

• Treat other players with respect, on and off the court.
• Keep in-app chat focused on coordinating matches (court, exact time, equipment).
• Honor your commitments — if you can't play, cancel the match through the app (Match page → "Cancel this match") as early as you can so the other player knows.
• Self-report your NTRP level honestly. Lopsided matches make the service worse for everyone.

Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Use Tenniso for commercial purposes (lessons, coaching, court rentals, gambling).
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other players.
• Create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your skill level.
• Scrape, copy, or republish data from the service.
• Attempt to disrupt, exploit, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Use Tenniso to facilitate illegal activity.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Reporting issues

If another player behaves inappropriately, open the match page and tap "Report" on the Report-an-issue card with a brief note — that sends us the match details, both players' account info, and your note so we can review. You can also email hello@playtenniso.com directly. We review reports and take action where warranted. The other player is not notified that they were reported.

Once a report is submitted, the record stays on file — it can't be deleted from the app. You can edit the note to add detail, correct it, or tell us it was filed in error; we'll see the update and dismiss the report during review when warranted.

Service availability

Tenniso is provided as-is during early access. We may add, change, or remove features without notice. We may pause or shut down the service entirely, especially during the beta period. We don't guarantee uptime or that matches will be available in your area.

Liability

Tenniso is a coordination tool — we don't host, supervise, or insure matches. You're responsible for your own conduct and safety when meeting other players. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tenniso and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes with other players, injuries during matches, or service interruptions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Significant changes will be announced in-app or by email to opted-in users. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
